Okay so what it is only 2 am, it is still morning. My sleeping is so irregular. Sometimes I sleep for 4 to 6 hours and can't go back to sleep for 24 hours or more. Sometimes I sleep for 12 hours and feel like I just fell asleep when I wake up.. Yes I have talked with my Dr. she says it is just a side effect of having Fibromyalgia. Well it is a side effect I could live without. It leaves me feeling weird up in the middle of the night and asleep in the middle of the day. I have never been one to sleep during the day. I always said if you found me asleep during the day you could bet your last dollar I was sick. Well that isn't true any longer. So if you knew be back then and find me asleep don't bet anything on me. Grin....
I have been sitting here going through beading blogs and I found this one .
http://www.earrings-everyday.blogspot.com/ I am excited about it. I love to have things that inspire me.
Just so you know although I haven't been beading I did work a little more on my work area and I have been playing with the flat back glass pebbles from Michaels. Well those and some wild colors of nail polish. If I get anything that really excites me there will be pictures to show.
I hope your all doing well.
Have a blessed day.

Hasn't been my year YET...
I started this year with big plans. I discussed them with my wonderful husband and he was so supportive. A few days into the new year I stood up from my chair and was walking toward him when suddenly I couldn't move. He caught me and held onto me as I cried in more pain than I thought was possible. I believed it would go away and insisted that if I could just lay down I would be okay. The next morning I was on my way to the ER. Sciatica was what they said I had. Lot of pain medication and several hours later I was back home in bed and that was the case for so many weeks I lost track. My doctor told me there was nothing that would help. However she did send me to someone else who immediately started me on another med that WORKED. Within days I was able to sit up and move out of the bedroom. I am still not 100% back. I have okay days and not so okay days. But I am a fighter, I refuse to allow this to take away my joy of beading. With the help of my husband we have a new set up for me for beading. I have also started doing some freeform crochet that I hope to play around with in my beadwork. We will see.
I hope this year has been better for those of you that check in on my blog.
I also hope to get some pictures up soon.
No pics for today, but there will be soon.

BEAD HOP BOO BOO my Bad
Oh my my, I am so embarrassed but before this night is over I will show you my bead stash hoard. I didn't hear anything back that I knew of, so I wasn't sure I was in this hop. This is my first hop and I am so excited. Now let me get my camera and start taking picks.
BRB
Ok I am back. I thought perhaps a pick of part of my beading area might give you an idea of how many small beads I have hoarded over the years, everything you see there is filled to capacity, sorted by types. etc, pearls, crystals, rondells, mix.. you name it. I most likely have at least one of it.
The black stacker on the corner with the smaller white one on top is seed beads including the white one. I don't think I could even add one more tube to any of those drawers. Yep I am hoarding.
Sure doesn't appear to be anything exciting does it? But every time I open this box it is like Christmas morning all over again. Each box is filled with goodies ... so I will pop the tops and show you inside a few. .. BTW your about to learn that I am also addicted to cabochons ...
This isn't even all of them. Hangs head so you can't see the look of joy on my face. I love them.
Ok, last one of the pics, but no where near the last of my stash. I would be all day long ok, all week, maybe two weeks trying to get it out to set up.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this. As soon as I understand how to add all the other links the will be here also.
Have a great Bead Hop.

Lets move on ***
A few years ago I had the pleasure of attending the Santa Fe, NM Bead show. These beautiful fairies, mermaids and a few other things caught my eye, came home with me and still remain in their little box. However, I have decided they no longer will live there after this post. At least one will be coming out to my work table.
Next I decided to show you where I keep my stash hidden. Now if this box comes up missing, I will know just where to go look.............
Yep this innocent looking box sits as a stack of 3 in my living room, but inside...... is this....Sure doesn't appear to be anything exciting does it? Shopping trip
Well I do believe I have the bestest hubby in all the world. A friend of mine told me about a local shop that sales Lucite flowers. At this point she only sales at shows, she was even at B&B , and here locally. But she is talking about putting up an Etsy shop. Well my hubby told me to shop all I wanted for my BD. You can't believe how one bag of flowers can add up to $$$$$ but it does. I won't say what I spent, but oh my I was shocked.
Well here is the awesome stash.
Poured out onto my bed to do pics.....
I have to admit this was a fun shopping trip and I have so many ideas floating around in my head of what to do with these. They are so pretty, so soft to touch.

New Camera and New Pics
Well my camera just died on me and my sweet Hubby took me shopping today for a new one. So I decided I would try my hand at taking pictures myself. Well he did some instructing but I did it. So finally there are pics on my last post and some for this post too. All I can say is Yay and Stuff.
Well let me fill you in on how my challenge is going. Last week I made a bracelet, earrings, and the bag/necklace. I tore apart an old piece and put the beads away. I promise from now on I will take pictures of what I tear up.. Ok that seems odd, but I will do it anyway.
This week things didn't go as planned, well the best laid plans of mice and beaders. However I had a very productive week, the piece that I didn't tear up is now a finished amulet bag and I have a pair of earrings to go with it.
Let me show you.
Ok well now that I have a camera and I am determined to learn to use it, you guys might get to see lots more stuff.

Well with that all done I attacked my new stash of soutache that I had just received on Wednesday and I watched ever video I could find and read so many blogs and post about soutache I think I now have a small idea of what I am doing. I don't have pictures to show you all yet but I am working away one it and having a blast.
OH YEAH, I forgot to tell you guys, my hubby who never ceases to amaze me has been playing around with making some jewelry. He created a pair of earrings but he couldn't get them to go together the way he thought he could so, I asked him could I try it by beading them with fireline and well Let me show you his design. I wear them proudly.
Ok well now that I have a camera and I am determined to learn to use it, you guys might get to see lots more stuff.

My Challenge to myself
Well ladies I decided to give myself a challenge. After over 15 years of beading I have accumulated lots of beads and well you know all the goodies that go along with it. I have magazines and books I have never done a thing out of. So I decided it was time for a challenge. My short time goal is to do this until the end of the year, then see how I feel about it. Well here goes the challenge.
BTW, feel free to join in if you would like.
Each week, I start with either, a necklace, bracelet or earring set. Once I am finished with it. I will do one of the others. So each week, I do a necklace, bracelet and pair of earrings. They do not have to be a set. But they do need to be beaded, I say that because I am also doing some stringing and I can do all of that in one day. So the challenge is about stitched work. The second part of the challenge. At least one piece has to come from an old magazine. Mine you I have almost ever B&B except #1. Also I have many years worth of Beadworks. Last rule of my challenge for me was I have to finish one project before I start a new one. Ok with that all done. I go to my stash of unfinished projects, I have them all in pencil boxes, grab a box without looking , sit down with it and make a decision, keep or undo. If I keep it, then it is the project I will work on until finished. Then I start the whole process over. This is just my way to tackle my HUGE stash of beads.
Well believe it or not, I finished a netted bag from a very old B&B, 1998, this one was a repeat because it was the very first piece I ever finished. So I thought it would be a good one to start on and I just love it.
Next a more recent mag gave me a lovely bracelet to create. Lastly, the bracelet idea gave me the idea to take a section of it and make a pair of earrings so I did.
Well after that was all said and done I grabbed a box from my stash, I should have taken a before pic..shame I didn't, but it had two projects, one I decided to rip apart, the other I am going to finish. The ripping was a real pain as it is a cab and it was almost done, but I realized the reason I had never finished it was I hated the colors I chose, but I love the cab, beautiful rose quartz. It took me all day to get it apart. The other piece is a bag I had done from a pattern I don't think I have anymore and it was done all but a strap and closing the bottom. For now I am posting this just because I want to do this at least each Saturday or Sunday. Perhaps more.

I had to have earrings to go with the bag. Not saying , just saying, how could I NOT!!!

Summer of Beading
To say I have been afk from my blog is a bit of an understatement. Winter was a bit of a trial for me this year. However, I still have all my beads, I ended up reorganizing where they set, just for practical purposes and I am now ready to get back to work beading. I hope this will be my summer of beading.
I am even thinking of challenging myself and if anyone wishes to join in just let me know.
I did redo my header here, I just wanted something softer. Now I am off to go check out everyone else's blogs.
Happy Beading Everyone.
